APPLICATION OF MABORITE POWDER

 

LAYER SPREAD ONTO TRAY OR FURNACE HEARTH

● Prevents cupels from sticking to hearth

● MABORITE has same composition as cupels

● Stuck cupel may break when forced

● Increases Tray / Refractory Lining life

● So MABORITE absorbs and retains litharge

● Broken cupels could cause sample loss

● Limits litharge attack to electric elements

● Reduces emissions of noxious PbO vapours

● Assayer's & cupel stress notably reduced !
